LATIBULE is an exploration and at the same time a means of introspection of the concept of refuge. The title, derived from the Latin word for ‘secret shelter’ or ‘a place of safety and comfort’ reflects the theme of protection.
The book serves as a safe space for eight projects completed over the past five years, forming a mosaic of spaces, people, and experiences I encountered during this time. Each photographic series is an exploration of the themes and techniques I have engaged with over the years, with the images serving as invitations to rediscover what I have worked on.
LATIBULE is not just a collection of images, it is a safe space that allows me to gather important themes related to my work, while also encouraging revisitation and introspection, enabling the discovery of new dimensions of the artistic self.
